TERNFIT FEATURED IN LIVING NORTH

Viking invasion virtual challenge medal. TernFit virtual run challenge, virtual swim challenge, virtual cycle challenge, virtual walk challenge.

We’re delighted to share that TernFit has been featured in Living North in an article titled “Meet the Brains Behind the New Fantasy Virtual Fitness Platform TernFit.”

In the feature, our founder David Stubbs talks about the inspiration behind TernFit, his passion for fitness and mental wellbeing, and how creativity has shaped every part of the platform.

What Makes TernFit Different?

A fantasy-themed virtual fitness platform where you can walk, run, cycle or swim through challenges such as Viking Invasion, Swim Loch Ness or Race to the End of the World. Every challenge comes with a medal and printed map to mark your achievement.

Flexible and inclusive: set your own pace, track progress through Strava or add miles manually, and complete challenges gradually rather than all at once.

Charity at the heart: 10% of every entry goes to brilliant causes including Alzheimer’s Research UK, Young Lives vs Cancer, The Children’s Heart Unit Fund, If U Care Share and others.

David’s Vision

As someone who takes part in events such as the Great North Run, David knows first-hand how valuable having a goal can be for both physical and mental health. With TernFit, he wanted to capture that same sense of purpose and achievement, but in a way that anyone can enjoy, wherever they are.

Creativity runs throughout the platform, from the fantasy-inspired challenge themes to the medal designs — each telling a story that makes every mile more meaningful.
